Online private classes are individual with Mayré.
You do not need natural talent or previous singing experience.
Classes can be taken from the age of 8 and up, with no age limit for adults.
The classes are conducted through Zoom.
You can look for a rehearsal studio in your area to rent and receive online classes from there. You can also ask people from your home to leave during your class if you prefer to be alone.
Mayré works on the cognitive, muscular, emission, auditory, expressive, and concentration areas in each class.
Basic level: Homogeneity of the 4 characteristics of sound is worked on in this level.
Intermediate level: Basic ornamentation mastery is worked on in this level, and advanced ornamentation mastery is worked on in the advanced level.
Professional level: Vocal arrangement design and artistic guidance are worked on in the professional level.
Additional classes are offered in Musical Composition, Basic Music Production for Songwriters, and Session Singer.
Yes, a certificate from the Mayré Martínez method is received at the end of each level.
Each level has an approximate duration of 3-9 months depending on the time and frequency dedicated to classes and practice exercises.
Mayré’s recommendation regarding the frequency at which you should take your classes depends on your time, budget, and how fast you want to achieve your goal.
If you want to achieve your goal quickly, the ideal is 30 minutes 3 times a week with days in between to digest the information.
If you want to graduate with a good pace but without rush, one hour per week is ideal.
If you are one of the people who prefers to work with someone to safely meet your goal, divide that hour a week into two half-hours a week.
If your budget is not enough for those two ideals, any other combination will work better than not seeing individual classes with Mayré at all.
